There's no job like, "The Austin Job!"
Hello, all you DMBerds! It's the moment you've been holding your breath for! (That is to say you all asphyxiated somewhere around 8 years ago...) The second Season of the Lost DMB Files has officially be republished.
I even found a couple of tidbits that I thought I'd written into the story that apparently had been residing in the crusty bits of my brain matter all this time. I'm honestly surprised I found them at all. Sections of my brain I used to visit frequently now provide full time residence to vagrant musings that typically end in something like, "not my toothbrush again..."
I made this little promo video for Fistful of Reefer several years ago (click on the image below to jump over to Youtube if the video doesn't load into your email client), but it still cracks me up. I've got 212 views on Youtube! [crickets...] You could be lucky number 213! Just imagine what you can tell your grand kids...next week...when they come over for a visit. Never mind, you probably don't want to explain why you were watching a trailer for "Fistful of Reefer" to your grandkids unless they're on the older side and are living in Colorado. Which in that case, no explanations necessary!
As I was saying... The Austin Job is live! And I would be deeply indebted if you could help me find some new readers by doing one of the following (Come on! My kids need wine!):
Just like with Fistful of Reefer, I lost all of my old reviews when I rebooted this new version of The Austin Job. Having at least a few reviews will help my Amazon ads gain significantly more traction. Many of you left those early reviews, may they rest in peace, and now I'm wondering if you could click over and leave me a new one!
If you've already read The Austin Job, you have a couple of wonderful options that would help me tremendously:Click over to Amazon and leave a new review.Click over to Amazon and buy the new version of the book, read the new and improved version, and then leave a review. If you haven't yet read The Austin Job, this would be a great time to do so! I'll be releasing the next book in the series (McCutchen's Bones) in a month. Please, click over to Amazon, buy the book, give it a read, and then leave me a review!
In case you are worried about the proper reading order for these Lost DMB Files, worry no more! Fistful of Reefer and The Austin Job actually overlap each other as far as their chronology in the fictional world from whence they come. They each highlight almost an entirely different cast of characters, and you can read either one of them first. No biggie!
This is your chance to say you read these stories before the author became famous (or before he was arrested, whichever comes first).
And on that note...
Fire in the hole!!!
